Kurt Angle released from WWE

Kurt AngelYes, i’m in shock too. Kurt Angle has been released from the WWE.

Now, i don’t watch WWE a whole lot any more, although i did briefly follow ECW when it started again (although it was rubbish, so i’ve pretty much stopped), but it seemed to me that Kurt Angle was still a very big player.

This news comes as a bit of a surprise really, as when i did follow the WWE, Kurt was always one of my favorite wrestlers, whether face or heel, purely because he could carry a match with anyone. It was also nice to know that he genuinely had the abilities that were claimed since he had an Olympic Gold Medal.

I wish i knew more surrounding these ‘personal issues’, as from what i can see, Kurt has always give alot to the WWE, rushing through surgery just to get back to the ring and pulling in crowds when others couldn’t, and unless this is something very serious, i think its incredibly poor show on WWE’s part. No surprise there I guess…

I look forward to finding out more about this one.

It really is good news for Kurt and his family. Even though he can perform better than most others in the ring he was physically falling apart behind the scenes. Kurt is the kind of person who would have carried on till he died in the ring.

My bet is he was on way to many drugs, needed just to allow him to get through a match, and the drugs testing brought it up.

Is it actually tho? The under construction-ness makes me wonder whether its a recent hack job to take advantage of the publicity.
Been caught out by too many of those in the past! You’d think it would be linked off the ECW site if it was official since there is a fair bit of news about it on there!?

Jeez its been confirmed by Meltzer. It’s Angle’s website, has been for years, didn’t need it until now.

He fell out with WWE over the last few days (for real) so of course they are not going to be linking to him on ECW.com.

Expect to see him in a TNA or Japanese ring in 90 days.
