Feedburner Troubles
I’ve been trying to set up feedburner on my RSS feed so that i can monitor how many people are reading my feed, and it isnt working. I can access the feed which i am getting feedburner to link to myself, but feedburner doesnt think it’s there?! I’ve tried loads of things, but while it recognised it initially and worked briefly (before i made a silly mistake and messed it up), whatever i do now, i cant get it to work!
How annoying. If you want to subscribe to my feed, please bear with me, (you can subscribe to the feed linked above for the time being!) and i’ll notify you when its up and running!

Just copy the RSS & ATOM links that I have for my “feeds” on the right side of the FO page.
What you’ll notice about WP is that it generates feeds for you automatically, you just have to tell it to do it! Which is something that people find out about too late.
If you want to keep track of how many subs you get for RSS, until you get Feedburner working, I would recommend just looking at your RSS hit totals based on the traffic program that came with your server. A Small Orange (which is the provider I use) has a hits program that just tells me how many people access the RSS. It’s probably the only temp. solution until you can get Feedburner working fully.

When I say “copy,” I mean just look at the URLs that I’m using for the RSS & ATOM feeds. Then replace the FO URL with gambituk.com and you’ll notice that it works smoothly for you.

Hey Zach,
I’m aware that WordPress automatically generates the feed and that is normally located at http://www.gambituk.com/feed/, but i have altered that link so that it points to feedburner instead, and the feed is now locaed at http://www.gambituk.com/feedburner_283331/. Unfortunately, feedburner doesnt find that link for some reason
Thanks for the help anyways, i’m gonna leave things as they are while feedburner cs looks into it…
